I featured on BBC Breakfast yesterday morning having done a rather unusual gig singing and playing Bond songs for the reception of Arc Cinema Beeston’s premier of No Time To Die.
This was the national television feature
You can hear me in the background and they actually used my response at the end of the film too, which is quite seminal and emotional, hence my puffy eyes! So that was an unusual function, one for the memory banks.
Things are starting to return to some kind of normal. I have a number of gigs coming up including with the Nottingham Jazz Orchestra next Friday 8th October and my London Jazz Festival gig featuring Tony Kofi on alto sax on 14th November. We will be performing compositions from both of my albums of original songs The Magical Mirror and Moments of Clarity as well as some favourite jazz standards.
I hope to see you again soon!
