In the above music video is the latest of my new recordings; my third with Angels in the Architecture bassist and producer Simon Paterson.  I was requested to write this piece about spring to accompany pictures taken in March 2017 in my home town of Beeston, Nottingham by Italian visual artist, macro photographer and official Pope biographer Roberto Alborghetti.

I was introduced to Roberto by my brother Simon Barton and Marysia Zipser from Art Culture Tourism who helped conceive and deliver Roberto’s Ghost Bus project at our family firm of Bartons PLC.  I was honoured to help them present Roberto’s two initial films alongside the bus itself as an art installation in Bartons’ Chilwell depot to both the media and the public in 2014.  Afterwards, he approached me to see if I could offer a soundtrack to accompany pictures he took during his visit in Nottingham city centre, which had a blue hue.  I offered him the second track off my album The Magical Mirror and the result was as follows:
